Privacy policy

This policy explains how Kriya, operated by Akshay Mittal (sole proprietor, Flat 5G, 5-6 Hastings Park Road, Alipore, Kolkata 700027, GSTIN 19AHFPM9350F1Z4), handles personal information. It covers this website (kriyasystems.in) and the Kriya CRM (crm.kriyasystems.in). We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other Indian laws that apply.

The short version

We collect only what we need to talk to you and to run Kriya for you.
We never sell your data, and we never use your customers' data for anyone else.
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data at any time.

1. What we collect on this website

Forms: when you start a free trial or subscribe, we collect your name, mobile number, and anything else you choose to give: email, business name, city, industry, team size, and your message.
Leak check: the calculator runs in your browser and sends nothing. If you then fill a form in the same visit, a one-line summary of your numbers is sent with it, and the form shows you this before you send it.
How you found us: campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source) or the website that sent you, so we know which ads work.
Meta Pixel: we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure our ads. It records events such as page views, form submissions and WhatsApp-button taps, and may use cookies. You can limit this through your Facebook ad settings or your browser's tracking settings.

2. What we hold inside the CRM

When you use Kriya, you add information about your own business and customers: contacts, notes, tasks, quotations, products, and files. For this data you are in charge and we process it only on your behalf, to run the service and give support you ask for. We don't contact your customers or use their information for any other purpose.

3. How we use information

To reply to you, set up your trial, and provide the service and support
To process payments and issue GST invoices
To send service messages, such as renewal reminders or important changes
To understand which ads and pages work, in aggregate
To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements

4. Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run Kriya, and only as much as they need:

Google Firebase and Netlify: hosting, database and backups
Razorpay: payment processing. Your card and bank details go to Razorpay, not to us.
WhatsApp (Meta): when we message you, or when you use WhatsApp features in Kriya
Our AI provider: to process text, voice notes or images you send to the AI agent (Pro plan). It is not used to train their models.
Meta: ad measurement through the Pixel, as above
Authorities: where the law requires it

Some of these providers may store data outside India, with suitable safeguards in place.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries from the website: for as long as we are in conversation, and up to 2 years after, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
CRM data: for as long as your account is active, and 30 days after cancellation or the end of a trial, then deleted.
Invoices and payment records: for as long as tax law requires (currently up to 8 years).

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to logged-in users of your account, every action is attributed to the person who did it, and data is backed up regularly. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, update, export or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent you have given. You can also name someone to act for you. Write to us using the details below and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Children

Kriya is a business tool and is not meant for anyone under 18.

9. Changes

If we change this policy in a significant way, we will update the date above and, for customers, tell you by WhatsApp or email.
